Week 2: #4 Online Safety and Sharing

How comfortable am I sharing online? I am very comfortable sharing, but to a certain extent. You won't see me writing every detail of my personal life for the whole world to see and then ask how everyone knows everything there is to know about me.

Sharing online is a big responsibility because you have to use common sense when managing how much information you want to give out to the public. The catch is that online we can say much more than we normally can say in the real world because in here we are nothing more than just another drop of water in the bucket. We all want to be heard, and we crave for that attention. Online you can get that attention, and it can be addictive.

Sharing is good, it helps us voice our opinions, as long as we don't get carried away and lose control.
