I like the game "I'll get it". It was a lot harder than it looks, and that afternoon rush is what gets you. (I know it got me).
Reading the NY Times article on gaming found in the library, I see that we are not the only ones adapting to the new times. In the beginning I did not agree with the idea of hosting video game parties in a library, but now that I see that this is a method to not only bring more attention to the library but also keep the kids off the streets, I think is a good thing.
As a gamer, I do a lot of reading when I play my games, and you have to pay a lot of attention to everything that is happening around you as well as having good hand to eye coordination. It elevates your imagination and makes you dreams of new worlds and characters.
It won't be long before these gamers that come to the library decide to get so interested in video games that they pursue a career in them, and the library will be there to provide them with all of the information necessary to complete their goal.
